Once a long while ago, I did a series of paintings- little things, watercolor washes to evoke sunset or twilight skies. Over the washes I used india ink to paint black silhouettes of trees, or whatever I wanted on my horizon.
I'm a scattered, relatively sleepless and eternally behind mommy to three fantastic little boys. . . and they make everything worth it. (Sappy, but true) :)
Littleman: 9
the Pirate, aka Mr. Sweetcheeks: 7
Babyman: 5
Unless otherwise specified, all the photographs on this site were taken by me with my trusty little Nikon Coolpix 4200 point-and-shoot. The lens is getting rickety and the battery door is held on with a rubber band, but it's still working. If I manage to do any editing at all, it's very basic- I might crop or adjust the exposure a little, for instance. If you wish to reproduce any of my photos in any way, please just be courteous and ask my permission first. I'd be flattered. Thank you.

I love winter trees, they make the best silhouettes! BTW, I amgoing to get my award onto the mantelpiece this weekend... forgive my slowness.

I guess now I do the same with my camera.
I wonder whatever happened to those things?
