Motorcycle Flashback

Even though it's been raining a lot, I've still got the itch to ride. I was looking through my photo program to find some older pictures to post for you all, and came across these- some of my favorites. This is Billy and me tearing up the Dragon's Tail back in May 2006. That was an amazing trip, one of those magic rides when our timing, skills and circumstances all come together in transcendence.

Hopefully Billy and I will get away soon for this year's ride. Until then, enjoy these shots (thanks to Moonshine Photo).

Wow!!! You guys are SO amazing. I love all the things that you do, not only with your kids, but with each other. You both strike me as free spirits. Although I'm sure it's a bit harder to live this when you are raising 3 little ones. BUT it is still simply who you are and comes through in every thing you do. the way you raise your kids, Billy's music, your love of dance, your writing and more. It's quite remarkable actually. And inspiring. Also you photos here and in all your posts are remarkable, clear and so incredibly laid out.

I hope you are doing well and able to find time to enjoy your summer.
Hugs,
Robin

@ Robin: Thank you! Yes, it's quite hard to be a free spirit with kids in tow. . . I have to reign my spirit in so theirs has room to shine! Luckily it is very rewarding seeing them explore and grow.

And thanks so much for the photo/blog compliment, too! :)

Hopefully YOU are enjoying your summer, finding time out from your busy schedule to keep in touch with what inspires you. :)

It's been so LONG since I was on the back of a motorbike... wonder if I ever will be again :(

I could feel all those hairpin bends in my tummy just looking at the picture! Hope you get to ride again soon.
